I was born in and currently reside in Greenville, South Carolina. I
have an Associate's degree in Art, a Bachelor's of Fine Art in
Sequential Art (comic books), and a Minor in Art History (I focused on
Prehistoric to Rennaisance European Art). I love listening to music;
primarily epic movie scores, instrumental celtic and medieval style
music, and Melodic Fantasy Metal. I also love dark stories, and '80's
era animated shows and movies.
What got me into comics? I had always had a love for drawing since I can remember. And later, I found a love for telling stories and knew that I wanted to do something where I could both write and draw. At first I didn't think of comics since I thought that there was only newspaper comics and superhero stories (shows how much I knew). In high school I really got into reading manga. I caught an episode of InuYasha, then came across the manga later. Picking up that book (volume 13 to be exact) I had the instant realization that that was exactly what I wanted to do. I fell in love with manga seeing how open and diverse each story was, and have enjoyed each story I follow. Entering SCAD I was introduced to all sorts of wonderful comics from all over, and am fueled by the passion and love of those creators. My goal with my stories is to bring happiness to everyone who reads them, and maybe some day be a source of inspiration for someone else to follow their dreams.
